Pre-insulated pipe for water supply and sewage systems

AustroPEX CW pre-insulated pipe with A160-1x75 heating cable is a flexible and self-compensating solution designed for the installation of cold drinking water, cooling water and sewage. The pipe construction combines a corrosion-resistant PE 100 pipe (according to EN 12201 standard) with effective thermal insulation made of PUR foam and a corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE. This ensures not only safe medium transport, but also minimizes heat loss and protects against the effects of weather conditions.

Construction and properties

The pipe is designed for easy installation and durability. The PUR foam insulation layer with a closed-cell microstructure is characterized by minimal water absorption (below 1% according to DIN 53428), which guarantees long-term protection against corrosion and loss of insulation properties. The corrugated HDPE outer jacket increases the flexibility of the pipe, making it easier to lay even in difficult conditions. In addition, the built-in self-regulating heating cable (power 10 W/m) allows the pipe to be used in installations exposed to low temperatures – down to -30°C. The pipe meets the requirements of PN16 standard, which means it can withstand a working pressure of up to 16 bar.
