AustroPEX CW pre-insulated pipe with A200-1x110 heating cable is a comprehensive solution for cold drinking water, cooling water and sewage installations. The construction based on a conductive pipe made of PE 100 (SDR 11) ensures durability and corrosion resistance, and the XPE foam insulation minimizes heat loss and water absorption – below 1% according to DIN 53428. The corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE protects the insulation and facilitates laying, and also increases the flexibility of the system.

The pipe is particularly recommended for installations exposed to low temperatures, thanks to the built-in self-regulating heating cable with a power of 10 W/m, which allows operation even at -30°C. This makes it an ideal solution for both internal and external installations.

Construction and application

The AustroPEX CW system consists of three key elements: a conductive pipe made of PE-Xa, insulation made of XPE foam with a closed-cell microstructure, and a corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE. This construction guarantees not only high energy efficiency, but also long life and maintenance-free operation of the system. These pipes are used in a wide range – from residential construction, through district heating networks, to installations in heat pumps and cooling systems.

It is worth emphasizing that AustroPEX WW pipes are dedicated to drinking and thermal water, while the Combi version works in central heating systems. Special WPP and WPE versions are also available for use with heat pumps.
