AustroPEX CW pipe is a flexible, pre-insulated solution designed for cold drinking water, chilled water and drainage installations. Made of durable PE 100 (according to EN 12201), it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. An additional, self-regulating heating cable (10 W/m) allows maintaining the appropriate temperature even in difficult conditions, enabling the installation to operate at temperatures down to -30°C. This is an ideal solution for both professionals and end customers looking for a reliable system.

Construction and insulation properties

The pipe consists of several key elements that provide its unique properties. The insulation layer made of cross-linked XPE with a closed-cell microcellular structure minimizes water absorption (below 1% according to DIN 53428) and provides excellent thermal insulation. The corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE protects the pipe from mechanical damage and facilitates its installation. SDR 11 is a parameter defining the ratio of the outer diameter to the pipe wall thickness – the lower the value, the thicker the wall and the higher the pressure resistance. The maximum working pressure is 16 bar, which guarantees safety of use.
