Cable tray bend – route direction change
This 90° bend from the LUNJ series, with dimensions 50x50 mm, is used to change the direction of the cable route. It is a key element of electrical and telecommunications installations, allowing for flexible adaptation of the cable layout to the specifics of the building. Made of steel, it ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Materials and workmanship
The bend is available in several material variants, allowing it to be adapted to specific environmental conditions and project requirements:
- Sendzimir galvanized steel (S): Standard finish, compliant with PN-EN 10346:2015-09. Provides good corrosion protection under typical conditions.
- Hot-dip galvanized steel (F – on request): Higher corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor applications or in aggressive environments, compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02.
- Stainless steel (E – on request): Highest corrosion resistance, recommended for use in harsh conditions, e.g. in the chemical or food industry.
- Painting (L – on request): Possibility of painting in any color from the RAL palette, allowing for aesthetic adaptation to the surroundings.
The sheet thickness is 1.0 mm, which guarantees adequate stiffness and strength of the structure.
Installation and functionality
The LUNJ50H50 bend is mounted using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws – a simple and quick solution for installers. It can be used as both an external and internal bend, increasing its versatility. In addition, the design allows the tray with a cover to be slid in, which facilitates cable routing and provides additional protection. This is particularly useful during later modifications to the installation or adding new cables.
