Connecting plate – reinforcement and safety for cable installations

The connecting plate BL/BLO100 is a key element for connecting cable trays, providing not only mechanical reinforcement of the connection but also the integrity of the system in the event of a fire. Made of high-quality steel, it provides reliable protection against damage to cables during installation and operation. Its use is particularly important in areas exposed to mechanical loads or requiring continuity of circuits in emergency situations.

Construction and application

This plate, with a thickness of 1.0 mm, meets the requirements of the E90 system for maintaining functionality in accordance with DIN 4102-12. This means that it provides at least 90 minutes of protection for electrical installations in the event of a fire – crucial for fire alarm, emergency and evacuation lighting systems. It is intended for use with tray connectors, and its installation is carried out using SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws (the number of sets needed depends on the width of the tray: 100-200 mm - 4 sets, 300-400 mm - 6 sets, 500-600 mm - 10 sets). Made of zinc-coated steel according to PN-EN 10346:2015-09, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.

Materials available on request: hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02), stainless steel and powder coating in a standard RAL palette.
