End plate – protection and safety for cable installations

The BZK/BZKO300 end plate is an element used to protect cables from damage at the end of cable trays. Made of zinc-coated steel using the Sendzimir method (according to PN-EN 10346:2015-09), it provides durable mechanical protection and corrosion resistance. This is crucial for the reliability of the entire system, especially in installations requiring a high level of safety.

Application and design features

The plate is designed for use with trays with a width of 100, 200, 300 and 400 mm. Proper mounting requires appropriate screw sets – a minimum of two for trays with a width of 100/200 mm and a minimum of three for trays with a width of 300/400 mm. The plate thickness (1.0 mm) guarantees adequate stiffness and strength. Additionally, on request, a version made of hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2011) or made of stainless steel (PN-EN 10088) is available, as well as the possibility of painting in standard RAL colors.

Safety and compliance with standards

This element plays an important role in systems maintaining the functionality of E90 according to DIN 4102-12. This means that it ensures at least 90 minutes of maintaining the functionality of devices in the building in the event of a fire. Therefore, it is ideal for securing installations in buildings equipped with fire alarm systems, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting with water sprinklers. It provides protection of the circuit against overload and short circuit – like most protective elements of this type.
