Symmetrical reducer for cable trays

This element is used to change the width of the cable pathway, allowing a smooth transition between different dimensions of metal cable trays. Made of durable steel, it provides a solid and lasting connection, essential for both professional installers and the reliability of the entire installation. Sheet thickness of 1.0 mm guarantees adequate stiffness and resistance to mechanical damage.

Construction and assembly

The RKSJ200/100H60 reducer features a symmetrical design, making it easy to install in various configurations. SGKM6x12 or SGM6x12 screws are used for connection – standard fasteners available on the market. For non-standard orders, it is important to provide the exact dimensions a and b to ensure a perfect fit for a specific installation. It is worth remembering that the reducer symbol reflects the dimensions of the cable trays, e.g. RKSJ400/200H60 means a reducer from 400 mm to 200 mm with a height of 60 mm.

Materials and protection

The reducer is standardly made of zinc-coated steel using the Sendzimir method (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), which provides good protection against corrosion. Versions are also available to order: hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) for increased resistance to atmospheric conditions and stainless steel (PN-EN 10088) for use in aggressive chemical environments. Additionally, it is possible to paint in a standard RAL palette, allowing you to match the color to the surroundings or project requirements. Surface protection with hot-dip galvanizing further increases durability and corrosion resistance.

The RKSJ200/100H60 reducer is widely used in electrical, telecommunications installations and in cable management systems in industrial and public buildings. It is compatible with most standard metal cable trays available on the market. The product meets the E-90 function, which means that it maintains its structural integrity for 90 minutes in fire conditions – important for ensuring the safety of the installation and people in the building.
