Changing the cable route while maintaining safety
The 90° ladder bend LDP/LDOP100H60 N is a component of the cable management system that allows for a smooth change in the direction of cable routing. Made of steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm, it ensures the solidity and durability of the structure. The bend angle is adjustable, providing flexibility during installation. Designed for cable trays with a width of 100 mm and a height of 60 mm, it is an integral part of the complete BAKS system.
Construction and application
This ladder bend is designed for demanding electrical installations. It meets the E90 standard, which means the ability to maintain the functionality of devices in the building for at least 90 minutes in the event of a fire. This is crucial for fire protection systems – fire detection, alarm and evacuation lighting, especially in buildings equipped with water sprinklers. Made of galvanized steel using the Sendzimir method (PN-EN 10346:2015-09), it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation. Versions made of stainless steel or with a RAL powder coating are also available on request.
Installation and compatibility
Correct installation of the bend requires LDCH... connectors and SGKM8x14 or SGM8x14 screws (4 connectors and 16 screw sets). When ordering fittings, the ladder symbol should be taken into account to select the appropriate rungs and cable supports. There are three types of rungs available:
- A: ladder rung DK... with UKZ... bracket
- B: ladder rung DF... or DU... with UK... bracket
- C: universal ladder rung DUV... with UKZ... and UK... brackets
