Universal connector for water and gas installations

This bronze transition nipple, from the B Press series, is a reliable solution for connecting pipes of different diameters in water, gas, heating, and compressed air installations. It combines the durability of copper with the convenience of pressing technology, ensuring a tight and secure connection. Made of high-quality bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW) according to PN EN 1982, it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term use.

Design and application

The nipple has a clamping socket with a diameter of 22 mm and a tapered BSPT-R external gas thread (3/4 inch). This allows for easy connection to other installation elements of different designs. Thanks to the B Press technology, installation is quick and does not require soldering, which translates to time and cost savings. The product is compatible with copper pipes meeting the PN – EN 1057 standard and stainless steel pipes PN – EN 10312. Additionally, the presence of a support collar ensures connection stability.

Safety and compliance with standards

The copper Cu - DHP with a purity of 99.99% deoxidized with phosphorus (according to PN EN 1254) and the bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C meet hygienic requirements and can be used in drinking water installations (has PZH approval). Connecting threads comply with PN - EN 10226-1 (ISO 7-1), and screwed connections with PN - EN ISO 228-1. The product features a unique yellow HNBR O-ring with a leak detection system. Please note that fittings intended for natural gas and LPG installations are appropriately marked (yellow color). The maximum working pressure of the nipple is 16 bar at 20°C.
