Drain for walk-in showers

Geberit CleanLine30 is a linear drain designed for modern walk-in showers - both those installed in the middle of the floor and those directly against the wall. It features a minimalist brushed stainless steel aesthetic that fits almost any bathroom arrangement.

The product belongs to the Geberit CleanLine drain family - alongside the narrower CleanLine20 and wider CleanLine80 models - allowing the channel width to be selected based on the shower size and intensity of use.

Construction and material

The drain body is made of CrNiMo 1.4404 steel in accordance with EN 10088 - this alloy contains molybdenum which improves corrosion resistance, making it perform better in the humid bathroom environment than standard stainless steel.

The set includes a comb insert (strainer), a connection socket with a leveling ring, and a rubber seal (sleeve). The drain itself can be shortened to any length within the 30-160 cm range - the installer cuts it directly on-site to fit the floor dimensions.

Adjustment and fit to the finishing layer

CleanLine30 is adapted for use with ceramic tiles with a thickness of 8-35 mm. Adjustment of height, slope, and offset allows for precise leveling of the drain relative to the floor gradient - even when the screed layer differs from the intended design.

Access to the comb insert is tool-free - simply lift the strainer to remove debris. This facilitates daily maintenance.

The manufacturer recommends caution with natural stone tiles - they may discolor in the immediate vicinity of the drain.

Standards, load, and compatibility

The drain is subject to quality control according to EN 1253-3, confirming compliance with European requirements for drainage devices. The load class K3 (3 kN) indicates suitability for domestic use - it withstands the weight of an adult standing at the drain.

Geberit offers dedicated mounting kits (available to order separately): for screed with a height at the inlet of 65-90 mm or 90-220 mm, as well as an inter-floor version. To connect two CleanLine30 drains, a connector with art. no. 154.322.00.1 is used - useful for larger shower areas.

The product is compatible with composite waterproofing systems (sealing directly under the tiles). It is not intended for industrial or resin floors.
