PEHD segmented elbow 250/90, black color (HDPE drainage) 371.055.16.1
Segmental elbow HDPE for Geberit drainage systems
This is a segmental elbow made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), designed for the construction of drainage systems inside and outside buildings. It is an element connecting pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 250 at a 90-degree angle, allowing for a change in the flow direction. The product is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage, chemical substances, and UV radiation, ensuring its durability and reliability in various operating conditions.
The elbow is adapted for connection by butt welding or electrofusion – popular methods of assembly in HDPE systems. Made of PE-80, it ensures long-term tightness and safety of the installation. Its black color facilitates identification in the drainage system.
### Features and application
The Geberit HDPE segmental elbow is a solid element of the drainage system that finds application in:
* Draining water from buildings – both in gravity and vacuum systems.
Roof drainage – both conventional and using vacuum systems.
Ground drainage.
Industrial applications – thanks to resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
Laying in concrete – which increases the durability and stability of the installation.
Thanks to its strength and resistance to weather conditions, the elbow works perfectly in both external (e.g. underground) and internal installations. Its design allows for safe and efficient drainage of wastewater and rainwater.
### Advantages and benefits
* **High chemical resistance:** PE-HD material is resistant to approximately 95% of standard bases, acids and chemicals, guaranteeing long-term operation even in an aggressive environment.
UV resistance: UV protection additives allow for long-term outdoor storage of pipes without loss of properties.
Mechanical strength: High-density polyethylene is characterized by high tensile strength and resistance to impact and shock, minimizing the risk of damage during transport, installation and operation.
Easy installation: The elbow is adapted for connection using standard welding methods used in HDPE systems, which speeds up and facilitates installation work.
Possibility of laying in concrete: This allows for increased stability of the installation and its protection against mechanical damage.
Working connection length: 335 mm provides a sufficient surface for welding and a tight connection with 250 mm diameter pipes.
