PEHD Segmental Bend – Reliability and Durability in Drainage Systems
This is a segmental bend made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a diameter of 315/90 mm, designed for the construction of drainage systems. It is characterized by high chemical and mechanical resistance, making it an ideal solution for both internal and external installations. Made of PE-80 material, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation.
Design and Application
A 90° bend with welding/fusion sockets allows changing the flow direction in the drainage installation. Its construction based on welded connections guarantees tightness and resistance to loads. Therefore, it will be useful in various applications: draining water from buildings, roof drainage, industrial installations, and underground drainage systems. The possibility of laying in concrete further expands the range of applications.
Resistance and Material Properties
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is characterized by exceptional resistance to many chemical substances – approximately 95% of standard bases, acids, and other compounds do not cause its corrosion or damage. Additionally, this material is resistant to UV radiation, allowing its use in outdoor installations without fear of degradation under the influence of sunlight. High tensile strength provides resistance to mechanical damage during transport and assembly. The wall thickness of the connections (12.2 mm) further strengthens the structure of the bend, ensuring its durability and reliability. The working length of the connection is 370 mm, which facilitates welding/fusion of the system elements.
