This circuit breaker combines the functions of an overcurrent circuit breaker (B characteristic) and a residual current device, providing comprehensive protection. The B characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts quickly to short circuits, but is more tolerant to short-term current surges, which is important when connecting devices with electric motors or other inductive loads. A tripping current of 30mA provides effective protection against electric shock when touching energized wires.
