Its B characteristic ensures fast tripping in the event of a short circuit, while allowing for short-term overloads, e.g. when starting motors. Sensitivity A makes it effective in detecting leakage currents, protecting users from electric shock. Two-pole design (1P+N) allows protection of both the phase and neutral conductor.

It finds application in protecting lighting circuits, socket circuits and other electrical devices in residential and commercial buildings. It is particularly recommended where high safety is required, e.g. in bathrooms, kitchens or damp rooms.

Construction and parameters

The circuit breaker has been designed with easy installation and intuitive operation in mind. A width of 2 modules allows for efficient use of space in the distribution board. The materials used guarantee durability and resistance to environmental conditions – the operating temperature is in the range of -25°C to 40°C. Terminal blocking prevents accidental loosening of connections, and dual mounting clips facilitate device replacement without disconnecting adjacent devices (depending on the version). Additionally, the presence of two indicators – contact position and residual current release – facilitates fault diagnosis and quick identification of the cause of the circuit breaker operation. The rated impulse withstand voltage at 4kV provides resistance to overvoltages. The cross-section of the connected multi-wire conductor is 1-16 mm², and the single-wire conductor is 1-25 mm².
