This black, two-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² is a solution for installations requiring reliability in harsh conditions. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safety and long-term operation. The cable is characterized by exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation.
Construction and properties
This cable stands out with its advanced construction, designed for demanding applications. Copper conductors, available in tinned or silver-plated versions, are twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 (class 5) standards. Insulation made of FEP-HELUFLON® guarantees excellent dielectric properties and resistance to damage. The outer jacket made of the same material provides additional protection against external factors.
It is worth noting the wide range of permissible operating temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), which makes it an ideal choice for applications in furnaces, heating devices or the chemical industry. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, ozone, water and the development of fungi and microorganisms. It is completely resistant to the action of oils, gasoline, acids and bases. The materials used in production are silicone and cadmium free.
Applications and compliance with standards
The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is primarily used in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets operating in extreme thermal conditions. It will also be useful in kitchen appliances, measuring devices and in the chemical industry – wherever high resistance to flames and aggressive chemicals is required. Thanks to meeting the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking), the product guarantees safe use. The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and fire resistance according to DIN VDE 0482
