This multi-core 600 V cable from HELUKABEL is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is designed for demanding applications. Its construction is based on stranded copper conductors, which provide good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The conductors are insulated with high-quality FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) fluoropolymer, which guarantees excellent electrical and thermal properties. The outer jacket made of the same material further protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors.

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), allowing it to be used in extreme conditions.
• Chemical resistance: FEP material is resistant to most chemicals, including acids, bases, oils and solvents.
• High insulation: Fluoropolymer insulation provides high insulation resistance (min. 2 GOhm/km) and low dielectric losses.
• Radiation resistance: The cable is resistant to radiation up to 1 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
• Low flammability: Self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material, meeting the standards DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
• Protective conductor: Version with yellow-green protective conductor available (marked "G").
