Extreme applications multi-core cable

This black, three-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a solution for installations requiring high temperature and chemical resistance. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP-HELUFLON fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation even in the most demanding conditions. The cable is designed to operate at 600 V and is characterized by flexibility and durability.

Construction and properties

This cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. Copper cores, available in whitened or silver-plated versions, are twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. FEP-HELUFLON® insulation provides excellent temperature resistance – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – and resistance to aggressive chemicals. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, microorganisms and fungal growth. The outer jacket made of the same material provides additional protection and durability.

The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and IEC 60332-1 standards regarding fire resistance. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.3 mm and the insulation resistance is minimum 2 GOhm/km. An option with a protective conductor (marked with "G") is available.
