Control and power cable OZ-500 – reliability and flexibility in every application

The OZ-500 cable is a flexible solution for control and power connections, designed for demanding industrial applications and electrical installations. Made of high-quality PVC, it provides reliable operation even in harsh conditions. Thanks to its twisted copper wire construction, the cable is characterized by good flexibility, making it easy to install and route in tight spaces.

Construction and application

The OZ-500 cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, guaranteeing its safety and quality. Designed for medium mechanical loads, it is ideal for flexible connections in slowly moving systems. It can be used in dry, wet and humid rooms (but not outdoors), as well as a cable for control and measuring devices in industrial equipment. The special PVC mixture provides not only flexibility but also resistance to external factors.

Technical characteristics and benefits

The OZ-500 4x0.75 mm² cable has four cores with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with PVC and surrounded by a gray outer PVC coating (RAL 7001). The cores are black and numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, which facilitates identification during installation. The rated voltage is 500 V (U) / 300 V (U0), and the permissible operating temperature is -40°C to +80°C (without vibration) and -15°C to +80°C during installation. The cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad) and oil-resistant. The fire reaction class is Eca.

The cable is characterized by high insulation resistance (min. 20 MOhm x km) and a test voltage of 4000 V, and breakdown voltage min. 8000V, which confirms its high quality and safety. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x diameter for stationary operation. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.
