Halogen-free cable for cable carriers, paired, shielded SUPER-PAAR-TRONIC-C-PUR® 5x2x0.5 mm² grey, color-coded wires acc. to DIN 47100 19123
Control cable for use in energy chains
This shielded flexible cable, designed for chain systems, ensures reliable data transmission even in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference. Its construction and materials guarantee long service life and resistance to harsh working conditions, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. This cable is particularly recommended for use in robotics, moving parts of machines, and BUS systems.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by an advanced construction that combines flexibility with durability. It consists of stranded copper conductors, insulated with polypropylene (PP), twisted in pairs. These pairs are arranged in parallel and surrounded by a braided screen of tinned copper wires, providing high efficiency in suppressing interference. The whole is covered with a special polyurethane outer jacket (TMPU), which provides resistance to abrasion, oils, acids, alkalis and radiation. The conductors are color-coded according to DIN VDE 47100 to facilitate identification during installation.
It is worth paying attention to a few key features:
- Exceptional flexibility: thanks to the fine-wire construction of the conductors (class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295), the cable works perfectly in dynamic applications.
- Chemical resistance: the polyurethane outer jacket protects the cable against the action of aggressive chemicals.
- Shielding: the braided copper screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring a stable signal transmission.
- Durability: the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting, which guarantees long-term operation.
- Compliance with standards: the cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and DIN VDE 0812 for cables for cable chains.
Operating parameters and specification
This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +70°C (flexible). Its rated voltage is 350V, and the test voltage is 1500V. The minimum bending radius for flexible applications is 7.5 x cable diameter for conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm² and 10 x cable diameter for conductors with a cross-section of 0.5-1 mm². The conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm². This ensures that the cable retains its mechanical properties even with frequent bending and twisting. Please remember that the given AWG sizes are approximate and the exact cross-section is given in mm².
