Shielded control cable – flexibility and reliability in harsh conditions

This high-quality, flexible cable designed for control applications stands out for its exceptional resistance to mechanical and chemical factors. The twisted pair and shielded construction ensures stable signal transmission even in environments with high levels of electromagnetic interference. Ideal for use in robotics, machines with moving parts, and BUS systems.

This cable is designed for long-term operation, even with intensive bending and twisting. The use of a special polyurethane (TMPU) mixture as the outer jacket guarantees resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils, acids, and alkalis. This makes the cable perfect for demanding industrial conditions.

Construction and parameters ensuring performance

The cable is constructed with 16 copper conductors, twisted in pairs, which minimizes the risk of interference. Each conductor has a cross-section of 0.25 mm², and the insulation is made of polypropylene (PP), providing good electrical insulation and chemical resistance. A braided shield made of tinned copper wires effectively protects against the influence of electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a flexible TMPU polyurethane jacket in gray (RAL 7001).

• Rated voltage: 350 V – ensures safe operation in typical control installations.
• Temperature range: from -30°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) – allows operation in a wide range of ambient temperatures.
• Minimum bending radius: depends on the conductor cross-section – ensures comfortable installation even in tight spaces.
• Radiation resistance: up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad) – allows the cable to be used in conditions exposed to radiation.
• Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

Additionally, the cable is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and fatigue, which translates into longer service life and less downtime for installations. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that interfere with painting.
