Low-smoke halogen-free data transmission cable – safety and reliability

This shielded DATAFLAMM®-C low-smoke halogen-free cable is designed for data transmission in signaling, measurement, control, telecommunications and alarm systems. It is suitable for both office installations and public buildings, laboratories or warehouses – anywhere that requires high fire resistance and the absence of toxic gas emissions during a fire. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.

Construction and properties

The DATAFLAMM®-C cable stands out with its careful construction ensuring high-quality signal transmission. It has 25 copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², twisted in pairs and wrapped in polyester foil for better protection against interference. A screen made of tinned copper wires minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference (EMC), guaranteeing stable device operation. The conductors are insulated with polyethylene (PE), and the whole is surrounded by a halogen-free outer jacket made of PVC, ensuring safety in the event of a fire. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.6 mm.
