This specialized connection cable, designated TOPFLEX®-EMV-2YSLCY-J, is designed to work with frequency inverters. This cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 and is an ideal solution in applications requiring flexibility and resistance to interference. Using it in installations ensures safe and efficient power supply to devices, minimizing the risk of electromagnetic compatibility issues.
Construction and application
The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility under medium mechanical load. It is intended for flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. It can be used in dry, humid and wet rooms (but not outdoors), making it a versatile solution for various industrial environments. It finds application in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, control systems, signaling and measurement – especially with conveyors and technological lines. It will also work in applications such as pumps, ventilation, conveyor belts or air conditioning installations.
Thanks to a specially selected PVC mixture, the cable provides excellent flexibility and facilitates quick installation. The transparent coating makes it easier to identify the cores, and the color-coded cores according to DIN VDE 0293-308 further streamline the installation process. The double shielding (aluminum foil and copper braid) minimizes the emission of electromagnetic interference, which is crucial when working with frequency inverters.
