PVC cable resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 120 4G0,5 mm² black, conductor identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 24004

PVC cable resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 120 4G0,5 mm²

This flexible cable, characterized by high temperature resistance (up to 105°C), is designed for use in machines, devices and engines operating at elevated temperatures – for example in paint shops or drying rooms. It will work both in dry, humid and wet rooms, as well as outdoors. The cable construction is based on special PVC, which ensures its durability and reliability in demanding conditions.

The HELUTHERM® 120 cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-11 / DIN EN 50525-2-11 (for cross-sections 0.5-0.75 mm²) and IEC 60227/56 and IEC 60227/57 (for cross-sections 1.0-2.5 mm²). It is made of stranded copper conductors class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228), insulated with special PVC TI3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3) and covered with an outer sheath of PVC TM3 (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1 / DIN EN 50363-4-1). The conductors are colored according to DIN VDE 0293-308 (up to five conductors – colored, above six – black with white numbering), and the protective conductor is yellow-green and placed externally (from three conductors).

Characteristics and application

This cable is distinguished not only by its resistance to high temperatures (short-term up to +120°C), but also by its flexibility and durability. This makes it ideal for applications requiring frequent bending and movement. This is especially important in machines and devices exposed to vibrations. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

  • Thermal resistance: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -30°C to +105°C during stationary operation and from -5°C to +105°C during flexible operation.
  • Rated voltage: The cable is designed to operate at a voltage of up to 500V.
  • Construction: Four conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² provide adequate current carrying capacity.
  • Safety: It has a yellow-green protective conductor to increase safety.
  • Application: Ideal for connections in machines, devices and engines operating at high temperatures.
  • Flexibility: Construction with multi-strand class 5 conductors provides high cable flexibility.
  • Chemical resistance: Exhibits good resistance to chemicals.

The HELUTHERM® 120 cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding flammability tests and has a voltage test of 6 kV and a test voltage of 2 kV. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 x cable diameter, and for stationary operation – 4 x cable diameter.
