The JZ-500 black cable is a flexible control cable designed for medium mechanical loads, ideal for connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The construction with five cores of 0.5 mm² cross-section provides versatility in control, signaling and measurement applications. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees safe and efficient energy transmission in various conditions.

Construction and properties ensuring long-term operation

The cable is characterized by a solid construction: twisted copper cores, PVC insulation and an external protective PVC coating. The cores are numbered for easy identification and connection. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. It does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable has been tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1 standards. This means it meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

Applications and technical parameters

The JZ-500 black cable is used in mechanical engineering, control, signaling and measurement systems in production lines and conveyor belts. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors (cannot be laid directly in the ground or water). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.8 mm and the rated voltage is 500V. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 x cable diameter and for stationary operation 4 x cable diameter. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MΩ x km and the test voltage is 4000V.
