Flexible control cable for industrial and other applications

This black, flexible JZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 7G0.75 is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from installations in mechanical engineering, through control systems, signaling, to measurements in production lines and conveyor belts. Thanks to its construction with multi-strand copper conductors, this cable is easy to install and provides good conductivity.

The cable is characterized by high resistance to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, making it an ideal choice for harsh working conditions. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both in the core insulation and in the outer coating, it ensures durability and safety of use. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable consists of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², each insulated with special PVC Z 7225. The cores are twisted in parallel and marked with white numbers for easy identification. The whole is surrounded by an outer coating of black PVC TM2 (RAL 9005). The outer diameter of the cable is 8.3 mm. This construction provides flexibility while maintaining adequate mechanical strength.

This cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
