LIY-CY cable is a versatile solution for flexible electrical connections, especially where protection against electromagnetic interference is required. The construction with a copper braid screen provides effective noise suppression, which is crucial in industrial environments and interference-sensitive applications. This cable is used in machines and equipment where there is a medium mechanical load, but no tensile stress.

Made of copper, with PVC insulation and an outer PVC coating, this cable is characterized by good resistance to weather and chemical conditions. Its flexibility makes installation easy even in tight spaces. The nominal conductor cross-section of 1 mm² and the rated voltage of 300 V make it suitable for many control and signaling applications. The gray color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification and organization of installations.

Construction features and user parameters

The LIY-CY cable stands out with its careful construction, which affects its reliability and durability. Multi-wire copper conductors of class 5 provide good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. PVC insulation protects against short circuits and mechanical damage, and the copper braid screen minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on transmitted signals. The minimum bending radius – 28.5 mm for fixed installations and 57 mm for flexible ones – allows for easy routing of the cable even in complex systems.

It is worth noting the operating temperature of the cable: from -5°C to +80°C for flexible use and from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations. Flame retardancy according to IEC 60332-1-2 increases safety in case of fire. The cable does not contain halogens, which is important from the point of view of environmental protection and human health. The approximate outer diameter of 5.7 mm allows it to be used in places with limited space.
