This cable (LIY-CY) 3x0.5 in RAL 7001 color is a versatile solution for applications requiring flexibility and protection against electromagnetic interference. The construction with copper cores, a copper braided screen, and a PVC coating ensures reliable and durable connections.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a precise construction that guarantees optimal operating parameters. The multi-wire flexible copper cores of class 5 provide good flexibility and resistance to bending. The core insulation made of TI2 type PVC and the outer coating made of TM2 type PVC provide protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The screen in the form of a copper wire braid minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in applications related to data transmission. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of the installation.

Thanks to its small outer diameter (approx. 5.1 mm), it is perfect for miniature plugs and devices.

This cable complies with DIN VDE 0812 and has a rated voltage of U/U0 of 300/300 V and a test voltage core/core of 1200 V. The insulation resistance is 20 MΩ x km, and the core/core capacitance is approximately 150 pF/m (at 800 Hz). The minimum bending radius for flexible connections is 10x the cable diameter, and for fixed connections – 5x the cable diameter.
