(LIY-CY) 4x1 cable is a flexible solution for data transmission, designed for applications requiring a small outer diameter. It is perfect for industrial environments such as tool and machine production, as well as in the electronics, computer, measurement and control sectors. This cable is particularly recommended where compactness and easy installation of miniature connectors are important.

Construction and application

This cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It consists of four copper cores with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with PVC. The cores are twisted with layers of polyester foil acting as a screen, which ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a gray (RAL 7001) PVC coating. Thanks to the shielding, the cable minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in precise measurement and control systems.

Designed for installation in dry, damp and wet (but not outdoors) rooms, where there are no tensile stresses or forced movement. The use of a double-sided contact of the copper braid with EMC cable glands further improves its shielding properties.

In addition, the cable has flame retardancy according to IEC 60332-1-2, which increases the safety of the installation. The minimum bending radius is 33 mm for fixed installations and 66 mm for flexible installations, which facilitates cable routing even in complex spaces.
