Shielded flexible cable for universal applications

This versatile cable (LIY-CY) 5x0.75 mm² is a solid solution for flexible connections in electrical installations. It is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. This cable is particularly recommended where a minimum outer diameter and effective shielding against electromagnetic interference are required.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with PVC. These conductors are twisted in layers, which ensures flexibility and facilitates installation. In addition, the cable has a screen in the form of a braid of copper wires, which minimizes the influence of electromagnetic interference on the transmitted signal. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating of PVC in gray color (RAL 7001). This makes the cable resistant to abrasion, moisture and oils.

• Conductors made of multi-wire copper, flexible class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228 – provide good conductivity and facilitate installation.
• Conductor insulation made of PVC type TI2 – guarantees good electrical insulation and resistance to mechanical damage.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -5°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +80°C (stationary). The rated voltage is 300/300 V. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0812 and has a CE certificate of conformity with LVD 2014/35/EU. Additionally, it has confirmation of flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2.

The cable is characterized by the following parameters: rated voltage 300/300 V, operating temperature range from -5°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -30°C to +80°C (stationary), minimum bending radius of 10x cable diameter (flexible) and 5x cable diameter (stationary). Complies with DIN VDE 0812, CE (LVD 2014/35/EU), DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2 and its conductor cross-section (AWG) is approximately 19 kcmil.
