Construction and application

This cable is designed for flexible connections under medium mechanical stress, where tensile stress does not occur. It can be used in dry, humid, and wet environments (but not outdoors), and its small diameter makes it perfect for applications with miniature connectors. The screen in the form of a copper wire braid ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – for optimal performance, it is recommended to have a two-sided contact of the braid with EMC cable glands.

Technical characteristics and benefits

This cable features a solid construction: six copper strands with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², PVC insulation, and an outer jacket also made of PVC. The strands are twisted in layers for optimal pitch, and the entire cable is shielded with a polyester foil and a copper braid. This provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, which is important in many industrial applications. The cable meets DIN VDE 0812 standard and has a CE certificate of conformity with LVD 2014/35/EU.
