PVC data cable, shielded LiY-CY 6x1 mm² grey, color-coded cores acc. to DIN 47100 18048813
This cable, designated (LIY-CY) 6x1 RAL 7001, is a flexible solution for data and power transmission, particularly where compactness is required. Made with copper conductors of 1 mm² cross-section, insulated with PVC and shielded with a copper braid, it ensures reliable signal transmission and protection against electromagnetic interference. Its gray outer PVC coating adds durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Construction and application
This cable is designed for indoor use, both in dry and humid environments – although it is not suitable for direct laying outdoors. It is ideal in situations where flexibility and minimal outer diameter are important – typical for precision devices, machinery, electronics or measuring systems. Thanks to its shielding, it is a good choice where reducing the impact of interference on transmitted signals is essential.
Applications include connections in tools, industrial machines, and in the electronics, computer and control sectors. Its small size makes it perfect for miniature plugs and sockets. The cable meets DIN VDE 0812 standard and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with LVD 2014/35/EU.
Key features and benefits
- Flexibility: Multi-wire construction of class 5 conductors ensures high cable flexibility, making it easy to install even in tight spaces.
- Shielding: Copper braid effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial for the precise operation of devices.
- Durability: Made of high-quality materials – copper, PVC – guarantees long life and resistance to environmental conditions.
- Compactness: Small outer diameter (7.9 mm) makes it easy to route the cable in tight spaces and minimizes impact on the environment.
- Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -5°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary).
- Core identification: Color-coded cores make identification easier during installation and servicing.
Additional information: the minimum bending radius during flexible installation is 79 mm and during stationary installation is 39.5 mm. The rated voltage U/U0 is 300/300V and the maximum permissible conductor temperature is 80°C.
