The cable (LIY-CY) 7x1.5 RAL 7001 is a versatile solution for flexible connections in medium-duty installations. It will work both in dry and humid rooms, as well as in conditions exposed to external factors – provided that they are not outdoor installations. The screened construction ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), minimizing interference and providing stable signal transmission. Its small outer diameter makes it an ideal choice for applications requiring compact solutions, such as tool manufacturing, mechanical engineering or the electronics sector.

Construction and properties – the key to long-term operation

This cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for durability and reliability. It is made of multi-strand copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², insulated with PVC. The conductors are twisted in layers with a polyester film as a separator and additionally secured with a copper braid, which acts as a screen protecting against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by an outer PVC coating in gray (RAL 7001). This makes the cable resistant to oils and chemicals, increasing its versatility.

The use of polyester film and copper braid provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in industrial environments and data transmission applications. In addition, the cable meets IEC 60332-1-2 standard regarding the flame retardancy of a single cable.

Specification for professionals – technical data in practice

The cable (LIY-CY) 7x1.5 RAL 7001 has been designed to meet the requirements of even the most demanding installations. Its permissible operating temperature is from -5°C to +80°C for flexible connections and from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations. The rated voltage U/U0 is 300/300 V. The minimum bending radius is 90 mm for flexible installations without guidance and 45 mm for fixed installations. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 9 mm, and its weight is about 119.8 kg/km. The cable has a class 5 conductor (multi-strand flexible) according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228.
