Construction and properties

The NSHTOU cable stands out with its solid construction, which guarantees its durability and reliability. Made of stranded wire class 5, it has GI1 rubber insulation and a 5GM2 neoprene outer jacket. This combination of materials provides resistance to weathering, oils, acids and UV radiation. The cores are stranded around a rope core with a spacer, which further increases the cable's mechanical strength. This makes this cable perfect for applications requiring frequent movements and loads.

• Flexibility: The cable retains its flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -35°C to +70°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +70°C (stationary).
• Mechanical strength: The cable construction allows for longitudinal core loads of up to 15 N/mm².
• Chemical resistance: The neoprene jacket protects against the action of oils, acids, gasoline and other chemicals.
• Safety: The cable has a rated voltage of Uo/U 0.6/1 kV and has passed fire resistance tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards.

The NSHTOU 24G2,5 cable is primarily used in devices requiring frequent cable winding and unwinding, such as construction cranes, cranes and conveyors. It can be used both indoors (dry and humid) and outdoors. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 814 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter, which facilitates assembly and installation even in tight spaces.
