Construction and properties

The NSHTOU cable stands out with its careful construction, which translates into its unique properties. A durable neoprene outer jacket (5GM2) guarantees resistance to weathering, oils, acids and UV radiation. The conductors made of stranded copper wire, insulated with GI1 rubber, provide flexibility and reliable connections. A textile braid reinforces the cable and protects it from twisting during operation. This makes it suitable for repeated winding and unwinding from a drum while maintaining full functionality. This cable is tested for fire behavior (IEC 60332-1-2) and oil resistance (DIN VDE 0473-811-404).

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The NSHTOU cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0250 part 814 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The maximum longitudinal load on the conductors should not exceed 15 N/mm², and the acceleration during operation should not be greater than 0.4 m/s². During operation, always leave at least 1-2 turns of cable on the drum to avoid damage. The cable has a protective conductor (G) for increased safety.
