The NSHTOU 3G2,5 cable is a flexible solution designed for operation in harsh conditions, especially in applications requiring frequent winding and unwinding from a drum. Ideal for powering devices in construction, mines, cranes and lifts. The cable construction ensures reliable operation even under high mechanical loads and varying temperatures.

Construction and properties

This cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for long-term operation. Copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, are insulated with GI1 rubber, which provides high flexibility and resistance to damage. Additionally, a textile braid reinforces the construction and protects against cable twisting. The neoprene outer jacket (5GM2) guarantees resistance to weathering, oils, acids and UV radiation. The cable is tested for fire performance according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.

• Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -35°C to +70°C (flexible), allowing it to be used in various environmental conditions.
• Resistance to mechanical loads: The cable is designed for operation with frequent winding and unwinding from a drum, as well as for carrying longitudinal loads up to 15 N/mm².
• Chemical resistance: The neoprene outer jacket provides resistance to oils, acids, gasoline and other chemicals.
• Safety: The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
• Flexibility: Allows easy routing and installation even in tight spaces.
