Single-core FEP wire – reliability in extreme conditions

This specialized wire with FEP fluoropolymer insulation (HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y) is an ideal solution for applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and aggressive environments. The wire is characterized by its flexibility and durability, making it indispensable in many industries. Made of silver-plated copper, it provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire stands out with its construction adapted to work in difficult conditions. The core made of silver-plated copper, twisted according to VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, guarantees a high-quality connection. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation provides not only thermal resistance (from -100°C to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C), but also excellent dielectric properties and chemical inertness. Additionally, the material is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms and completely waterproof – which translates into safety and long-term operation.

• Wide temperature range: Operation at temperatures from -100°C to +205°C (briefly up to +230°C) allows the wire to be used in extreme conditions.
