Single-core FEP wire, resistant to high temperatures HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y 1x0.5 mm² red, conductor: tinned copper 25532
Robust FEP cable for extreme conditions
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is designed for applications requiring resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation even in the most demanding conditions. This cable is used in both industrial installations and the construction of switchgear cabinets, as well as in heating and kitchen appliances.
Versatility and resistance to external factors
The cable is characterized by exceptional resistance to a number of factors, making it an ideal choice for difficult applications. It is resistant to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline. In addition, the FEP insulation provides resistance to ozone and climate change, minimizing the risk of material degradation over time. This ensures that the cable retains its properties for a long time, providing safe and reliable operation.
Technical specifications and application
The cable has a flexible stranded wire class 5, which facilitates installation and ensures installation flexibility. The nominal conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the nominal voltage U0/U is 600 V. The approximate outer diameter is 1.6 mm. A wide range of operating temperatures from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) allows it to be used in extreme thermal conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in furnaces, brickworks and heating and measuring devices. In addition, its properties make it ideal for use in the chemical industry where resistance to aggressive chemicals is required.
