High-temperature single-core wire HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y

This brown single-core wire with FEP fluoropolymer insulation is designed for use in demanding conditions where standard wires fail. Made of silver-plated copper, it is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. Its construction and materials ensure reliability and long-term operation in harsh industrial conditions.

### Construction and properties

The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y wire stands out with a construction that provides high flexibility and durability. The core made of silver-plated copper ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. FEP fluoropolymer insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C) – and to the action of chemicals, oils, gasoline, as well as microorganisms and ozone. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, minimizing the risk of painting disturbances. The wire also has high dielectric strength (minimum 2 kV) and low water absorption.

### Applications and benefits

This wire finds wide application in industrial installations, construction of switchgear cabinets and in devices operating in extreme thermal conditions.
