The YDY 2x1.5 750V cable is a universal solution for transmitting electrical energy in building installations. It is suitable for installations on plaster, under plaster, and in rooms with increased humidity. Its construction with single-wire copper conductors, PVC insulation, and an external PVC jacket ensures reliable and durable connections.

Construction and user parameters

The YDY cable is characterized by a solid construction, adapted to work in various conditions. Copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² provide adequate conductivity, and PVC insulation guarantees safe use. This makes this cable ideal for powering various electrical devices in residential and commercial buildings. It is worth noting the permissible operating temperature from -30°C to +50°C during installation and from -40°C to +70°C during operation – which makes it resistant to changing weather conditions. The minimum bending radius of 87.6 mm makes it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.

Safety and compliance with standards

The cable meets safety requirements and has certificates confirming its quality. It is flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2, which increases the safety of the installation in the event of a fire. Reaction to fire class Eca (according to EN 13501-6) indicates limited flammability and smoke emission. In addition, the cable is resistant to low temperatures (according to EN 60811-504+505+506), which allows it to be used in difficult climatic conditions. Conductor resistance at 12.1 Ohm/km ensures efficient power transmission with minimal voltage drop.
