Built-in underground fat separator

The separator is made entirely of PE-HD – with no metal components inside the tank – ensuring resistance to aggressive wastewater and long-term durability. The material warranty is 20 years, meaning the structure is immune to corrosion or degradation caused by fats, chemicals, or soil conditions.

The tank features a rounded bottom and an integrated sludge chamber, enabling complete and rapid emptying – no residual fat or sludge remains. The total tank volume is 370 liters, of which 140 liters is the sludge chamber capacity, and 70 liters is the maximum fat storage capacity. Cleaned water discharges through DN100 (OD110 mm) pipes, in accordance with DIN 19537 (PE-HD) and DIN 19534 (PVC-KG).

Installation and maintenance access

Designed for installation at a depth of 800–1200 mm, the separator is ready for immediate installation – all connections must be made on-site. The height can be adjusted using a vertically adjustable upper section, allowing a 5° tilt for easier pipe routing. The KL.D400 (40 ton) cover is made of gray cast iron, odor-tight, and resistant to surface water. There is no locking mechanism – access is unrestricted.

Cleaning is performed manually using a suction hose – this requires opening the cover. There are no mechanical systems or automatic pumps – minimal maintenance consists only of regular removal of sludge and fat.

Installation requirements and dimensions

Required access space is 1380 x 1106 x 1300 mm; gross weight is 135 kg. Resistance to groundwater is ensured from the bottom edge of the base, with a maximum groundwater level of 500 mm. The tank diameter is 648 mm; the distance from the bottom to the inlet is 610 mm, and to the outlet – 540 mm. Compliant with EN 1825:2004. No additional components are required – it operates as a complete system when properly piped.
