Construction and application

The cable is designed for making patch cords with a maximum length of 10 meters. The CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) wire construction combines the advantages of both materials – the conductivity of copper and the lightness of aluminum, which facilitates installation. The cable cores are surrounded by HDPE insulation, and the whole is protected by an external PVC coating. This makes the cable resistant to mechanical damage and ensures stable data transmission. The meter-long length counter printing makes it easier to precisely cut the appropriate lengths of cable during installation.

Specification and parameters

The cable is characterized by an operating frequency of up to 100 MHz, which allows achieving data transmission speeds of up to 100 Mb/s. It has a fire resistance class of Fca, which increases safety. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.2 mm, and the core thickness is 0.5 mm (AWG 24). The operating temperature range is from -20°C to 70°C, allowing it to be used in various environmental conditions. The cable has a solid-core construction, which facilitates its termination using standard RJ45 connectors. The core resistance is a maximum of 90 Ohm/305m, and the insulation resistance is a minimum of 5000 mOhm km.
