The MOST 6012 welding electrode with a diameter of 2,5 mm is a professional solution dedicated to steel structures with complex geometries. Thanks to its rutile-cellulose coating, it ensures a stable electric arc even on contaminated surfaces, making it ideal for assembly workshops and field work.

Mechanical properties and chemical composition

The material is characterized by a yield strength Re = 360 N/mm² and a tensile strength Rm = 440-550 N/mm². An elongation at break A5 = 22% guarantees resistance to cracking during operation. Impact strength KV = 47 J at a temperature of 0°C ensures safety of use in low-temperature conditions.

The chemical composition of the filler contains optimally selected elements: carbon (0,08%), silicon (0,30%) and manganese (0,50%). This selection of ingredients ensures a balance between the strength and plasticity of the weld material.

Operating parameters and compatibility

The device operates with DC minus to the electrode or AC current, providing flexibility in power source selection. A particular advantage is the possibility of use in devices with low ignition voltage U₀ > 42V, including small welding transformers at 230 V.

The electrode performs well in all welding positions, including difficult forced positions such as vertical up-down. High electric arc concentration enables precise execution of root passes when welding pipes.

Practical application and usage advantages
