Acid-resistant chimney cap (wind cowl) made of 1.4404 sheet metal, 1.0 mm thick. Its main application is to assist gravity chimney draft by creating a vacuum at the outlet when the wind blows against the cap, preventing backdraft. It is always positioned facing the wind direction, thereby protecting the chimney opening. The cowl can be used for both ventilation and flue gas chimneys. The cowl with bearing is available in diameters from 150 mm to 300 mm. Other diameters can be manufactured to special customer order.
