Flexible aluminum duct for ventilation and air distribution

Aluflex duct with a diameter of 160mm is a flexible conduit made of aluminum tape, ideal for ventilation, air conditioning, heat recovery systems, and connecting range hoods. It is also suitable for hot air distribution installations, e.g., from a fireplace. Its construction allows for easy adaptation to complex ventilation duct layouts without loss of tightness. The duct is manufactured by Prodmax, which guarantees high quality and durability.

Construction and properties

The Aluflex duct is created by spirally winding aluminum tape joined by a special lock. This production method ensures flexibility and strength of the conduit. The thickness of the aluminum tape is 0.1 mm for diameters up to 200 mm and 0.12 mm for larger diameters, which affects its resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. Thanks to this, the duct retains its shape even with frequent bending. The commercial length is 3 meters, but it is compressed to about 1 meter during production – which facilitates transport and storage. The minimum bending radius is one and a half times the diameter (R=1.5D), allowing for precise adaptation to the required installation configuration.

The ability to operate in a temperature range from -30°C to +250°C and resistance to humidity (up to 95%) make it an ideal solution for various environmental conditions.
