Stalflex Flexible Flue Liner – a reliable solution for challenging installations

The Stalflex flue liner is a flexible chimney liner made of high-quality acid-resistant sheet metal (grade 1.4404). Designed for situations where traditional, rigid flue liner elements are impossible to use – especially where there are significant deviations or curves in the existing chimney shaft. Thanks to its flexibility, Stalflex allows it to be adapted to complex channel geometry, ensuring safe and efficient flue gas removal.

Application and characteristic features

The Stalflex liner is intended for removing flue gases from gas and oil boilers with an open combustion chamber. Made of a tape 60mm wide and 0.12mm thick, it is characterized by high corrosion resistance, especially to the action of acidic condensate formed during combustion. This condensate is drained through a condensate pan located at the bottom of the chimney. It is worth remembering that condensation is a natural process, especially during start-up or cyclic operation of the boiler.

Stalflex is an ideal solution for:

• Modernization of existing chimney installations: when replacing the entire chimney is too expensive or complicated.
• Installations in buildings with unusual architecture: where there are numerous obstacles or curves in the chimney shaft.
• Boilers operating under negative pressure: where corrosion resistance and resistance to temperature changes are important.
• Applications requiring flexibility: where rigid pipes cannot be used.

Installation and compatibility

The Stalflex pipe is available in various diameters (including fi 125mm), allowing it to be adapted to specific installation needs. The liners are cut to size, which minimizes material waste and facilitates installation. It is important to ensure proper connection of the elements using appropriate clamping bands (e.g. ZK1, ZK2, ZK3) and ensuring the tightness of the connections.
