Socket GZU8 for R15 2P Relay 592031
Relay socket for R15 2P – reliable connection and easy installation
The GZU8 socket is a dedicated solution for use with R15 2P relays, providing a quick and reliable electrical connection. Its compact dimensions (82 x 35.5 x 25.7 mm) and mounting on a standard 35 mm rail facilitate installation and integration with existing systems. The gray housing of the socket provides good visibility and identification in the distribution board.
Construction and application
GZU8 is designed with simplicity and functionality in mind. The lack of circuit separation allows for a direct connection of control and load signals. Input terminals (A1(2) and A2(7)) and output terminals (11(1)-12(4)-14(3), 21(8)-22(5)-24(6)) allow connection of wires with a cross-section adapted to the load. A current rating of 10 A at 300 V AC guarantees safe operation in typical applications.
- Quick installation: Mounting on a 35 mm rail eliminates the need to drill holes and use additional mounting elements.
- Compatibility: Designed specifically for R15 2P relays, ensuring a perfect fit and seamless cooperation.
- Convenient identification: The gray color makes it easier to visually identify the socket in the installation.
- Increased functionality (with clamp): The optional spring clamp GZU 1052 increases the height of the set by approximately 4 mm, providing additional connection stability and easier access to the terminals. Please remember to order the clamp separately.
- Safety: A current rating of 10 A / 300 V AC provides protection against overload and short circuit, protecting both the socket and connected devices.
Important information for installers
The GZU8 socket is a modular element, allowing for the creation of flexible and scalable control systems. The socket, relay R15 2P and clamp GZU 1052 set has dimensions of 82 x 35.5 x 84.1 mm. Protection class IP20 means that the socket is protected against accidental contact, but does not protect against the effects of water or dust – this should be taken into account when installing in industrial environments or exposed to moisture.
