Pressure reducer 6247 2, 5 in 6247.65.000
Pressure reducer with flange connection DN65
The reducer is designed to stabilize pressure in industrial and commercial installations where reliability and precision are critical. It operates in systems with water, compressed air, and other neutral, non‑adhesive liquids and gases — without risk of damage from over‑pressure.
The reducer cartridge contains a stainless‑steel protective mesh with a 0.6 mm opening size, which effectively traps contaminants and extends the service life of the whole device. The entire functional assembly — valve and filter — is integrated into a single, replaceable cartridge. There is no need to dismantle the whole fitting: simply unscrew the cover and replace the cartridge — without losing the set outlet pressure and without special tools.
The flange connection complies with prEN 1092‑3 (1092-3), and the working pressure up to 16 bar on the inlet allows safe use even in high‑pressure networks. The outlet pressure can be adjusted in the range 1.5–6 bar, and it is factory‑set to 4 bar — ideal for most water supply systems.
The operating temperature must not exceed 30 °C, limiting its use to cool or low‑temperature systems — e.g., drinking water, not hot or heating water. It can be installed in any position, but it is recommended to orient the cartridge downward so that settled dust does not interfere with valve operation.
Additionally, the device features a manometer connection — allowing pressure checking at the outlet without installing additional components. This is a significant advantage for installers who need to quickly verify system performance after installation.
The DN65 version (6247.65.000) corresponds to a flow rate of up to 24 m³/h at full opening, and under higher load (e.g., with the valve fully open) it can reach up to 48 m³/h — depending on pressure differentials and network characteristics.
The product has no moving parts aside from the cartridge — which minimizes wear and the need for service. It is a solution for those who want to avoid frequent repairs and ensure long‑term pressure stability.
