Flexible installation cable for demanding applications

The H07V-K (LGY) installation cable with a cross-section of 1×1,5 mm² is a universal solution for professional electrical installations. Made of class 5 stranded copper conductor, it is characterized by exceptional flexibility while maintaining high electrical conductivity. The single-core construction with brown PVC insulation ensures easy identification and safe use in various environmental conditions.

Electrical and mechanical properties

The cable operates at a rated voltage of 450/750V, enabling its use in both domestic and industrial installations. The copper conductor with a resistance of 13,3 Ω/km at 20°C guarantees minimal energy losses during electrical power transmission. The class 5 stranded construction provides resistance to repeated bending - the minimum bending radius is only 11,8 mm, allowing the cable to be routed in tight spaces and complex cable routes.

An outer diameter of 2,95 mm and a mass of 20,044 kg/km make it a compact solution for high-density wiring installations. The round geometry facilitates laying in typical installation conduits and cable ducts.

Application and mounting versatility

This H07V-K model has been specifically designed for laying in surface-mounted or embedded in plaster installation conduits. It is intended for fixed, protected indoor and outdoor lighting and control device installations. Thanks to its flexible stranded construction, it is indispensable in places requiring repeated bending of wires at small radii.

It has found wide application in switchgear wiring, street lamps, lightning protection systems, control and monitoring cabinets, and distribution boards. It is particularly recommended for connecting moving elements inside machines, instruments, and apparatus - where standard solid single-wire cables might sustain damage.

Operating parameters and safety of use

The cable maintains full functionality across a wide temperature range - from -40°C to +50°C after fixed installation, and can be laid during installation from -15°C. The maximum conductor operating temperature is 70°C, and it can withstand short-circuit temperatures of up to 160°C momentarily.

Safety of use is ensured by the Eca fire reaction class according to EN 13501-6 and flame retardancy in accordance with IEC 60332-1-2. The cable holds a certificate confirming resistance to low temperatures according to EN 60811-504+505+506.

A test voltage of 2500V and full conductor identification according to HD 308 S2 guarantee the highest standards of quality and electrical safety.
