Installation cable H07V-K – a reliable choice for various applications

The H07V-K installation cable is a flexible solution for transmitting electrical energy, ideal for both professional installers and end-users. Made with class 5 copper wire, it provides good flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. This cable is designed for permanent installation in conduit and surface-mounted ducts, cable trays, and in places exposed to vibrations. Its yellow-green insulation facilitates identification and ensures installation safety.

Construction and properties

The H07V-K cable features a solid construction. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. This makes the cable resistant to low temperatures (down to -40°C during installation and -20°C after installation) and can operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures (up to +50°C). The conductor resistance is 13.3 Ohm/km, guaranteeing efficient power transmission. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 2.95 mm with a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm². The rated voltage U is 750 V, and U0 is 450 V.

Safety and compliance with standards

Safety is a key aspect when choosing installation cables. The H07V-K cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding flame retardancy. Additionally, it is halogen-free (according to IEC 60754-1), minimizing the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. The reaction to fire class according to EN 13501-6 is Eca, which means limited combustibility and smoke generation. The cable does not have a function to maintain functionality according to IEC 60331 and is not intended for underground installations or marine applications.
