ETIMAT 6 circuit breaker with D characteristic is designed to protect circuits where high inrush currents occur, e.g. when starting motors or devices with heating elements. The D characteristic allows for momentary exceeding of the rated current without unnecessary tripping of the circuit, which is particularly important in the case of devices with high power consumption during start-up. The rated current at 40A makes this circuit breaker ideal for protecting circuits with medium load. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity at 6kA (at 400V and 230V) ensures effective protection against damage to the installation in the event of a short circuit.

The circuit breaker has three protected poles, which allows its use in three-phase circuits. Mounting is done on a standard TH35 rail, which facilitates installation and replacement of the device. A width of 3 modules allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet. Additionally, the circuit breaker is characterized by a high rated insulation voltage (500V) and impulse withstand voltage (4kV), which increases its safety and durability.
